Books that I've read. # Title Author Publisher (My Comment) 1. Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China Jung Chang Flamingo (it's the winner of the 1992 NCR Book Award, about communism in China, how three generations coped with it. great book!) 2. The Lexus and The Olive Tree Thomas L Friedman (a great view about understanding globalisation, globally. great book) 3. The Other Side of The Story Marian Keyes Penguin (bought it in livingston. about acknowledging other's side of a story. wer'e not always 100% right/wrong.) 4. Anyone But Him Sheila O'Flanagan headline (another one bought in scotland, story about a lady, with her sister and mother whom had the same birthday. how life changes here and there, and suprises life bring to them) 5. Isobel's Wedding Sheila O'Flanagan headline (bangi. about how one anticipated and dreamt wedding crushed, and seeking for new love, but NOT comprimising just for the sake being wed!) 6. My Favourite Goodbye Sheila O'Flanagan headline (bangi, i think someone borrowed it, and never returned it yet. i forgot what the novel is about, hope i can get it back tho!) 7. The World According to Garp John Irving Black Swan (bangi. great storyteller. i love this author, some of his book include The Cider House Rule, which i would love to read. story about a writer's life. very fascinating life tho!) 8. Arjuna Hati Norzailina Nordin Alaf 21 (i don't really fancy malays novel, except for some fresh novelist/stories such as this! great attempt, good story. how ones travel through history to know about one's family) 9. His 'N' Her Mike Gayle Hodder (a chick novel by a non-chick? hahah story about old fling during campus life through a guy's eyes.) 10. The Secret Dreamworld of A Shopaholic Sophie Kinsella Black Swan (great laugh! this is hugely addictive chick flick. entertaining, feel-good novel) 11. Shopaholic Ties The Knot Sophie Kinsella Black Swan (a shopaholic preparing for her TWO weddings! hilarious!) 12. Shopaholic Abroad Sophie Kinsella Black Swan (not enough shops in UK, she went for a berserk shopping fiesta in US. enjoyable) 13. Can You Keep A Secret Sophie Kinsella Black Swan (not a shopaholic series, still a hilarious story) 14. Manisnya Cinta Anis Ayuni Alaf 21 (another malay novel that i've enjoyed reading) 15. Spellbound Jane Green penguin (spellbinding! i like this author. she tells her story nicely. this is about a woman coping with her husband's infedelity.) 16. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Stephen R. Covey (a very motivational principle book!) 17. Quotes & Quips: Insight of Living The 7 Habits (published by Franklin Covey) (great quotes from great people from all walks of life)
